This article aims to enlighten about the speed up browsing using squid. Squid itself then what? Please read on wikipedia itself. I'm sure so many have know about this squid from the fruit of lips that either intentionally or deepen the knowledge to study the squid.

What is the use squid? Squid like a maid to accelerate the process of our browsing activities, in which the squid can save all the objects from one or several websites into local media and it will be provided when there is a request / demand after the previous calculation processing squid. In the adoption of a squid relative to actual real life, the point here is the squid relative depend on several factors. among other things: how fast the processor is in use as a squid server, how many clients served by the squid, how fast the squid can reach the client, and many more technical factors and non-technical squid that could affect performance.

But generally the squid will always be able to successfully speed up browsing compared with browsing by using the direct connection. Squid itself can easily say that easy-difficult, since this is mostly open source applications without the full support and the support of like a paid software.
